The New Model School Company NMS that owns and operates Maple Walk and Faraday Prep School has a not-for-profit ethos. As part of a small not-for-profit group, Maple Walk has the advantage of being able to share administrative costs, resources & experience with its sister school Faraday but by not being part of a larger profit orientated group can maintain its autonomy and flexibility in decision making. This structure means that the school is able to keep the children and its creative, engaging and dynamic curriculum the main focus.

Financial Information NMS publishes annual accounts on the website and the group has no borrowings from financial institutions. NMS shareholders originally provided capital because they had a philanthropic view of education, there is no distribution of profits in any form to shareholders, all profits remain within the company to ensure financial resilience and for reinvesting in the schools.
