Roundwood Park in North West London is an amazing asset for Maple Walk. Just a few minutes’ walk from the school, it’s a Victorian park that is nearly 27 acres in size and has English Heritage Grade II-listed status.
It is a beautiful park with a mix of wide-open green lawns, wooded areas, formal gardens, a cafe and sports facilities, including two all-weather basketball courts.
Many children cross the park to get to school in the morning, some as part of the school’s environmentally friendly ‘walking bus’. Other children will take part in the early morning sports clubs that take place in the park most mornings from 7.30-8.30am.
All Maple Walk pupils will have some sports lessons in the park, whether it’s Football, Cricket, Athletics or Basketball.
There are also fantastic play areas for children to enjoy in the afternoons after school has finished.

The best way to see the school in action is to book onto an open morning. These events last approximately an hour – you will have an opportunity to meet the Head and have a tour of the school led by the Year Six pupils. We look forward to welcoming you to Maple Walk soon.
