Welcome to Maple Walk School
SCHOOL UPDATE - COVID19
As of 1 June 2020, we are delighted to welcome back our Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 pupils.
The school will also remain open for children of key workers. All other children will continue to receive distance learning through a mixture of platforms as we aim to maintain our excellent standards of education remotely.
We look forward to welcoming our pupils back as soon as it is safe to do so.
Maple Walk is a happy, successful and vibrant independent primary school, for girls and boys aged 4-11, in Harlesden, North West London.
We provide a secure and supportive environment for effective learning and personal development. Maple Walk is committed to giving every child a first-class traditional education in the arts and sciences, drawing as a resource upon the Core Knowledge approach which imparts knowledge through traditional academic subjects.
We have a friendly, well-resourced environment with low pupil to teacher ratios, in which children learn and flourish. Opportunities outside the classroom abound. Through sporting activities and first-class music, art and drama, we encourage every child to find their own particular strength.
Maple Walk is a non-selective school that seeks committed families and pupils who can contribute to and benefit from its high standard of education and care. Pupils are selected for admission to the school on the basis of the date when they were first registered.
For entry into Reception class, we ask that you attend one of the open days to find out what life is really like at Maple Walk School.
For entry midway through the academic year or for years above Reception, a private tour and meeting with the Head Teacher can be arranged. For entry mid-year, an assessment may be made to ensure that we can meet the needs of your child and our other pupils.
We are a Good Schools Guide School. Read our review here.
