We believe that an excellent Early Years’ education is vital for a child’s personal, social and emotional development.
The Lower School is a busy environment where children are encouraged to discover their personal strengths, make mistakes, and develop independent skills as they explore the world around them.
The Upper School is an exciting time when pupils really get to spread their wings.
The School Day
Maple Walk is a happy, busy school where the children are engaged and learning from drop-off to collection.
The wellbeing of our children is at the heart of all we do.
We are so proud of the wide range of extra-curricular clubs we have on offer at Maple Walk. These activities enrich our pupils’ lives and develop them as people.
Roundwood Park in North West London is an amazing asset for Maple Walk. Just a few minutes’ walk from the school, it’s a Victorian park that is nearly 27 acres in size and has English Heritage Grade II-listed status.
We believe that spending time outdoors helps children to develop self-confidence and a respect for the world around them. Each week, groups of children attend outdoor activities in the local park.
We use London as an extension of the Maple Walk classroom. We take every opportunity to take our pupils out of school to explore the world around them.
At Maple Walk each child is assigned to a House, either Saturn, Venus, Neptune or Pluto. The whole school loves the House system. It motivates pupils to win points that go towards treats and experiences.Read more
We offer delicious, healthy, hot lunches at Maple Walk. We recognise, however, that individuals have personal preferences, so pupils are welcome to bring a packed lunch into school.Read more
The best way to see the school in action is to book onto an open morning. These events last approximately an hour – you will have an opportunity to meet the Head and have a tour of the school led by the Year Six pupils. We look forward to welcoming you to Maple Walk soon.
