Gardening

A gardening club runs on most days during school hours for children in Reception. Our Site Supervisor, Mr Dimitrov, has transformed a disused piece of land to the side of the school for growing vegetables, herbs and flowers.

All children get the chance to plant, cultivate and care for the plants, many of which they then harvest, prepare, cook and eat.  Crops in the Autumn term included potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots and chives.

Mr Dimitrov has a BA in Special Psychology/Pedagogy (Special Needs Schools and Kindergarten Teaching).  His club is extremely popular!
