Gifted and Talented
We support children of all abilities and are adept at stretching those who are exceptional. Children who are gifted or talented in a particular area are quickly identified and their class teacher will make certain they are regularly challenged to ensure their continued progress and interest.
We have experience in supporting children who are gifted in all areas, including high academic ability in the core subjects of English, Maths or Science, but also in the Arts and Sports. Our subject leaders will review each child’s needs so that our curriculum and methods help to support and nurture them.
Gifted and Talented groups allow those with strengths in a particular area to prepare for senior school scholarships and take part in competitions such as Gymnastics, Art, Sport, Music, Dance and more.

The best way to see the school in action is to book onto an open morning. These events last approximately an hour – you will have an opportunity to meet the Head and have a tour of the school led by the Year Six pupils. We look forward to welcoming you to Maple Walk soon.
